Richard Conway and Andy Cross, Azure MVPs from Elastacloud, take you on a tour de force of Big Data as a workload and the available services on Azure for supporting them. The session begins with introductory outlining of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings; from the complexities and power of building a Linux IaaS cluster to the simplicity and bounded capabilities of Cloud Services via HDInsight. The session will continue to give hands on examples of HDInsight, the Hadoop on Azure service and will conclude with a demonstration of Machine Learning with the new AzureML service.
